I am the Director of Behavioral Sciences, Associate Medical Director of ​Community and Practice-Based Research, and Assistant Professor at the ​University of South Florida (USF) School of Medicine in the Department of Family ​Medicine. I am also a respected faculty member at the American Society of ​Addiction Medicine (ASAM).

As the Founder of Aligned Coaching and Consulting LLC, I empower women to ​advance in their careers and help organizations foster environments that ​promote mental health and well-being. My consulting services specialize in ​addiction and behavioral health education.

Additionally, I contribute to the Pennsylvania Advisory Council for Substance Use, ​offering guidance to Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro and Secretary of Drug ​and Alcohol Programs Dr. Latika Davis-Jones on substance use issues within the ​state.

With 24 years of experience in clinical settings involving research, education, ​supervision, and counseling, I am equipped to address various co-occurring ​disorders. As a certified yoga instructor and dedicated juicer, I integrate daily ​meditation and journaling into my professional practice. Growing up in West ​Virginia, my work is both a personal and professional passion.
